I booked and produced a private corporate rock concert performance of Lou Gramm “The Voice of Foreigner” at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Amelia Island, Florida.
Lou Gramm who has one of the most recognizable voices in all of Rock & Roll and was immediately greeted by cheering fans as he took the stage at this conference ending gala.
This night, Gramm brought along members of the English progressive rock band Asia with John Payne. Combined, they drew upon a huge catalog of hits that most everyone remembers singing along to in their car.
We Love A Surprise Show
The show in fact was a surprise for the attendees. The clue, since this was their fifteenth annual gala, was “It Feels Like The First Time”– the cheering crowd knew it was the Foreigner song.
Another surprise was, on bass John Payne from Asia who added his hit songs, “Time Will Tell” and “Heat Of The Moment.”
