I had the pleasure to book country music artist Jake Owen for the 75th Anniversary of the Paralyzed Veterans of America’s gala at the Indianapolis International Motor Speedway.
This year’s 75th Anniversary of Paralyzed Veterans of America was held at Roger’s house, that is, PVA supporter, Roger Penske’s Indianapolis International Motor Speedway with festivities all day at the track and the black tie gala at the event pavillion in the center of it all.
Of Jake Owen’s 21 singles, nine have reached number one on the US country charts: “Barefoot Blue Jean Night”, “Alone with You”, “The One That Got Away”, and “Anywhere with You”, all from his third studio album, Barefoot Blue Jean Night; “Beachin’” from his fourth studio album, Days of Gold; “American Country Love Song” from his fifth studio album, American Love, and “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” and “Homemade” from his sixth studio album, Greetings from… Jake.
I was also asked to help the organization book comedian Rob Riggle as the evening’s MC.
Rob Riggle is a former Marine and is active as an MC for many veteran organizations.
My company, Celebrity Direct Inc. is often asked by nonprofit oraganizations to book and produce unique music artists for their fundraising galas, concert shows, and help find the perfect fit for a celebrity MC at their event.
With Rob Riggle adding his comedic style and personal stories, the Paralyzed Veterans of America created lasting memories for all in attendance.
